
This photo is about what you don't see, the old Salmon Falls bridge. I went to this area on Monday, hoping to get one more shot of the bridge before it disappeared. I was a little late, it's submerged already (it's located just left of center in the upper water area). I checked the data for the Folsom Lake water level and on Monday it was at 52% full. However, it is still below the historical average of 75% for this date. What I now know is that the old bridge is submerged when the lake water level is at about 50% or greater.
