Lower Eagle Falls #1

Posted by
Bill Brown (California, United States) on 20 June 2013 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

On a recent wet and rainy day, I braved the elements to capture some images of Lower Eagle Falls at South Lake Tahoe. The top of the falls can be viewed from just off of Hwy 89 at Emerald Bay.

I imagine if you loose your footing there it might be a long drop, yes ? How I wish this carried sound.

@Ronnie 2¢: So true Ronnie. The footing was wet not only from the waterfall but also from the rain. You can bet I stepped very gingerly over the wet rocks.

The slower shutter speed created a very nice effect. I like the view you chose, with the mountain in the background and the lake below.
