Two in the Field

Posted by Bill Brown (California, United States) on 2 February 2013 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

Sandhill cranes in the field. This image represents a 50% crop of the original image. These guys were far enough away that even the 600mm lens was not long enough.

I like the DOF too....these guys probably do NOT like to be too close to us...We used to see them all the time (at a great distance) when we lived in Victoria, TX as we would watch them flying across the sky going to and freom the great Aransas National Wildlife Refuge along the Texas Gulf Coast... Beautifil shot, Bill!
