Ronnie 2¢ from Atlantic Shores, United Kingdom

What an amazing sight . . it must be possible to be aboard that an not even know you are at sea !

24 Mar 2011 9:48am

@Ronnie 2¢: That is very true Ronnie, especially if the sea is calm.

Denny Jump Photo from Easton, PA, United States

That's a beautiful ship and an even more beautiful view, Bill! Great detail with that 7D and the color is awesome on the decks(?)...I like this scene becasue it is a functioning ("at work") kind of image which shows operation...Great stuff sir!

@Denny Jump Photo: Thanks Denny, I appreciate your comments. I liked working with the 7D but is was a bit of an adjustment since my 5D is full frame.

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

Great shot Bill, some of us live in towns smaller than that ship mate!!

24 Mar 2011 4:33pm

@Curly: Thanks for your comments Curly! It is like a small town with a large population (3000+)

Franz from Baden, Austria

a most impressive "boat"! i hope going back and forth in those little tenders didn't affect your stomach ... ;-))

24 Mar 2011 9:41pm

@Franz: Thanks for your comments Franz! The sea was mostly calm so the ride was alright.

Steve Rice from Olympia, United States

That thing is HUGE and quite a sight against all that blue.

25 Mar 2011 4:55am

@Steve Rice: It does look very big when isolated in the open sea like that. It was larger than all the cruise liners we saw on the cruise except the gigantic Oasis of the Seas.
