This shows one of the more impressive pieces of architectural terra cotta found in the factory. It was also the most challenging to photograph because of the bright light from the large windows on either side. In retrospect I should have taken multiple shots at different exposure settings for HDR processing, however, I did do the next best thing and processed the one file multiple times and created this HDR in Photomatix Pro.

Denny Jump Photo from Easton, PA, United States

I don't know, I'm not that good at that stuff (yet) but I kinda like this one a whole bunch!! When I first opened this up the words out of my mouth were "
Oh, Wow" and I wasn't just talking about that beautiful corner piece...I love the detail and the reatment in this entire scene, especially the walls....the brightness through the windows, to me, is not distracting at all...quite the antithesis, it is compelling and a wonderful addition! I think you have one heck of a great image here sir!! Just my take!

26 Jan 2011 5:17pm

@Denny Jump Photo: Thanks so much for your comments Denny! I really appreciate the feedback since the lighting here was very difficult to handle. You know, I could go back and spent a ton of time in this corner alone.
