Cool shot...I really like how the snow defines the shapes of the rocks and offers a beautiful contrast in texture.

@Ronnie 2¢: Ronnie, you bring up an interesting point. With nothing in the photograph to gauge scale, one can only image how big or small the rocks might be. As close as I can remember, the foreground rocks measured about two feet across.

Sierra Nevada Granite, looks like..beautiful! job Bill...the snow looks exactly like it should. I was out this morning struggling with proper metering and exposure but I think I got it ok..sure not like this thoug, this is GREAT!l
