Yosemite Nat'l Park, Tunnel View

Posted by
Bill Brown (California, United States) on 3 August 2010 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

This is not from one of Ansel Adams lost and found negatives that have been making the news :). However, I'm a great admirer of his work and he comes to mind whenever I'm doing b&w. This image is from my Yosemite trip last March.

Denny Jump Photo from Easton, PA, United States

Well Ansel would be certainly proud of it yet this breathtaking image definitely has your own stamp on it - the sharpness and detail is marvelous on this one and it just has a wonderfully differnt look as does all of your work does, so that we may have seen this basic view many times, but there is something about what you have done and how you have done it here that makes it unique A great piece. Fantastic!

A great capture illustrating beautifully Yosemite's vastness and grand scale. I like how Half Dome is tucked away behind the line of evergreens.
