Full Moon Rising

The last time I tried the get this shot, the horizon was obscured by clouds.

Which is highlighted by your very interesting, unusual color tones.

@Dulcie: Thanks for your comments! Other than bringing the brightness way down to show detail in the moon, this pretty much how it looked from the camera.

well, you certainly got it this time!! superb catch!!! looks like last night was the night to be out with the cameras....but lazy me, watched the moonrise from the patio, and just couldn't get motivated to grab the camera and go outside.....

@Susan: Thanks for your comments! Funny thing is, I had marked my calendar for the full moon and almost did not go out. I was feeling a little tired and said to myself, I'll just stay in and wait for the next full moon. Then at the last minute I decided to get out there. I was in position about 5 minutes before the moon popped up.;
